How do you garner attention for the new Kingsford Shop during holiday season? By finally giving grilling enthusiasts a gift that’s been on their wishlist for years: a pallet full of Kingsford charcoal.
Through social listening, we discovered Kingsford loyalists had been clamoring to buy Kingsford Blue Bag in bulk to no avail. So we created the Kingsford Pallet Present - a pallet of charcoal/pellets festively wrapped in a weather-resistant cover and delivered straight to their doorstep in time for the holidays.
The limited edition presents sold out almost instantly, driving social buzz, and creating the unlikely scenario of people begging to receive lumps of coal for Christmas.
